Our Asscher Halo Engagement Ring (1.20CT) is an Art Deco statement in diamond and gold. A 0.50-carat Asscher-cut center diamond — with its distinctive stepped octagonal facets and hall-of-mirrors depth — sits within a raised octagonal halo of round brilliant diamonds whose flat-cornered frame echoes the geometry of the center stone precisely. The halo is constructed as a deep box frame with vertical walls visible from the side, giving the setting an architectural, almost three-dimensional quality that sets it apart from conventional flat halos.
Flanking the halo on each shoulder, two cushion-cut side stones totaling 0.70 carats are set in 4-prong settings at the same elevated height as the center, creating a three-stone composition of imposing width and visual balance. The cushion cuts' soft-cornered brilliance provides a beautiful counterpoint to the Asscher's stepped facets. The plain polished comfort-fit shank keeps all the drama in the setting.
