Industrial precision applied to fine jewellery — this solitaire ring holds a 1.00 CT round brilliant diamond within a cross-bar cage setting: four square-section gold bars arranged in a cruciform grid that locks the stone in place from all four compass points. The bars meet the stone at its girdle with mechanical exactness, holding it visible and floating within the cage framework. There are no conventional prongs here — the stone is gripped purely by the geometry of the structure, creating a setting that reads as engineering as much as jewellery.
Behind the setting, a contrasting white gold liner sweeps in a shield or teardrop form beneath and behind the stone — a two-tone design element that creates a bright metallic contrast against the yellow gold structure, drawing the eye inward and adding depth to the setting's side profile.
